CITY OF RAVENNA, NEBRASKA – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) – PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN

The City of Ravenna is requesting proposals from firms for the development of a new Parks and Recreational Master Plan to provide recommendations and action plan to guide future recreation, quality of life and facilities improvements and investments. The City was awarded 2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Planning Grant funding from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (OED) for the development of the stated Parks and Recreational Master Plan.

The City was awarded funds in November of2023 and received a notice of release of funds and environmental clearance from OED on April 4, 2024. The planning study completion date (as determined by the contract between OED and the City) is no later than May 14, 2026. Proposals will not be considered if the intended services your firm wishes to provide are not clearly
expressed.

The selected firm will create a Parks and Recreational Master Plan for Ravenna to develop realistic short-term and long-term goals and objectives. The study will provide Ravenna with the guidance to create a park and recreational plan to be implemented by the City in the future through a variety of funding opportunities (including CDBG grant funds).
