Good tool and question

I believe this could be a good tools for all of us planning people out there. I hope people take advantage of this. On your planning commission are you asked to explain your votes. I just took over as chair for mine and it has always been the tradition to explain your vote during the roll call. Is this right. I think each planning commissioner can explain his vote if he/she wishes before or after the roll call. What do you think?
